Are consulations free?

Yes. Schedule an appointment and we will thoroughly review the contents of your estate and discuss your best liquidation options moving forward.

Should I go through my items before my consultation?

Only to separate the valuables you wish to keep from those that are to be sold. Please do not throw anything out, attempt to move fragile pieces without proper assistance, or clean antique/vintage items (this could potentially decrease value).

How is commission percentage determined?

We use a sliding scale to calculate a fair commission that is deducted from your total gross sales. For more information on how this percentage is determined, visit our Rates page.

When will I recieve payment?

Once the sale has concluded, your proceeds will be mailed within 7 business days. Along with your check will be every receipt and other appropriate documentation from the sale.

How are additional fees determined?

During our consultation we will try to guage what potential additional fees (security, moving/cleaning services) may be necessary in order to insure your estate sale runs as smoothly as possible. No fees will be paid up-front or out of pocket, all will be deducted from total gross sales.

What happens to the items that do not sell?

There are several different options to discuss for determining where items left over from your sale end up. Many clients choose to donate to a local charity, and we will provide you with the information for a tax write-off.
